South Orangetown Instructional Technology Plan
The LHRIC was asked by George Brady, Director of Technology, South Orangetown to develop this proposal.

The purpose of this project is to facilitate the decision making process regarding instructional technology for the elementary, middle and high school in South Orangetown. The proposal includes the coordination of meetings within the district with vendors specified by South Orangetown. The focus of the analysis is on Math in K - 12. Six vendors were chosen by the district for review. In addition, Middle and HS committee members will be invited to attend the Pearson Nova Net event being held on April 29th at the LHRIC. The table below lists the products to be reviewed and the grade levels they support.

It is estimated that it will take 9.5 days to complete this project at a cost of $9,262. The pages which follow outline the scope of the project and the commitment on the part of the LHRIC and the district. This wiki was developed as a collaborative tool to facilitate the decision making process. It will be expanded to include links to the vendor sites, meeting minutes, and serve as a collaborative work environment for project participants.
